About Karen Altizer

Karen Altizer has served in full time ministry for over 20 years. She is a pastor’s wife, home educator, and has been a facilitator for GriefShare for nine years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and is a Board-Certified Mental Health Coach with additional certifications in Trauma Informed Care and Grief and Loss.

Determined to live a life of joy, Karen aims to be the kind of resource she was looking for during times of struggles. She firmly believes that God is the lifter of your head and that grief and loss are important parts of your story that must be seen, recognized and remembered.
